Comic #4: Good Idea!
Alright! Lets do this! ^-^
Here is Comic No. 4. Click on the pic to see a bigger version. I really want to get better at this. I have so much to learn and I'm tired of just getting stuck on trying to get everything perfect. Just tried to have fun with it and go with the flow. So thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy and I gladly appreciate if you leave any feed back (good or bad). ^-^

Happy Friday
Here are a few drawings I've recently drawn in my sketchbook or scrap pieces of paper. I really like the look of the first pic. I took some pictures of myself making this goofy face and used it as reference. The second and third pics look weird because I was drawing in the dark using a tiny little flash light to help me see. Didn't want to disturb my wife's sleep. The fourth pic I was playing with some red ink. Then the pic of the gorilla looking thing is suppose to be Chewbacca but I didn't really like the way it was turning out but I still like it.
I recently got this book called "In the Studio: Visits With Contemporary Cartoonists" by Todd Hignite. It features interviews with nine cartoonist like R. crumb, Charles Burns, Seth, and Art Spiegelman to name a few. I've read a bit of it so far and I like it but I especially like how they show the work of other artists who have influence them. Very Awesome.

Los Angeles Fire
Here are a few pictures I took near Old Town Pasadena a few days ago. It's crazy how close this thing is. The next morning we were driving out early morning and I felt like we were in a scene from "Day of the Dead". Creepy!
