WOOHOOOO!!!

I have here some new sketches and shit!!!!! Last year I did a couple of paintings for an art show at Monkeyhouse Toys in Silverlake and I did this piece with my rabbit in space. I was really happy with the way it came out, yet I do feel I should have added a bit more to it. So I decided to make a few small pieces of the rabbit where you'll see him exploring space and such. Here is what i'm currently working on and some sketched out ideas.

Hope you enjoyed. I'll have more new stuff to share very soon. Please feel free to leave a comment. L8S!

Comic Factory Sunday! ^-^

Today I took my daughter and wife to the Comic Factory in Pasadena. I love watching my daughter light up when she discovers the comic she wants. She couldn't decide whether to get Archie or The Powerpuff Girls. She chose the latter.

She was really digging it. The guy working at the shop was really nice and gave her two free comics. One was Spider-Man and the other was Fantastic Four she liked Spider-Man best.

My wife pretty much grabbed everything they had on 'Doctor Who' and I bought myself 'Amor Y Cohetes'. I'll be posting some new sketches and other stuff soon. Peace!

"I must not think bad thoughts. I must not think bad thoughts. I must not..."

Last year took a toll on me. I wasn't really drawing as much as I would have liked. I wasn't in the best of moods either. I was feeling very frustrated all the time. I felt like my brain was about to explode. To much shit was going on. I did try to keep myself thinking positive and some days I would be able to kinda get in the mood and doodle. I take the bus to work and I usually don't have trouble sketching but this bus just moves way to much. I have to be patient and wait for it to stop to continue were I left off. Anyways, I did manage to do a few sketches that I really enjoyed like this one on the left. At my job I found a piece of paper were some one had drawn on it a bunch of heads which all fit together like a puzzle. I thought it was so cool. It inspired me to try it out myself and I really had fun drawing these. I would sometimes just add random shapes to try and push myself to make characters out of them. Great way to get your imagination working.

I drew on the cover of an 'LA Weekly' at work while listening to DJ Krush.

I want a pair of Goldblum's glasses.

Sorry about the bad pics. Hope you enjoy!
